Bath

Bathhouse — is a room, where it is possible to wash oneself. A special effect is achieved by the simultaneous action of hot water and hot air (in Turkish hamams and Roman therms ) or steam (in Russian baths and Finnish sauna ). Distinctive features of the Russian bath - high temperature (70-90°C), fairly high humidity (15-30%), spanking by oak or birch brooms and the active use of medicinal herbs. The recommended number of visits - 5-7 times. The first set lasts 3-10 minutes and allow to warm up and get used to the heat load. In subsequent times the temperature and duration can be increased, but the maximum time it should not exceed 20-25 minutes. Russian bath improves blood circulation and dilates the blood vessels, promotes better absorption of oxygen by the body. Moderate humidity allows not dry mucous membranes of the respiratory tract, and the traditional use of a broom cleans the top layer of the epidermis.
