VIII International Festival of Ethnocultural Traditions «Zov of Polesie» (August 20, 2024)Every two years, the agricultural town of Lyaskovichi hosts the festival of ethnocultural traditions «Zov of Polesie» which is aimed at preserving and popularizing the ethnocultural traditions of Polesie, studying and supporting the rich historical and cultural heritage of the region, and strengthening creative ties of border regions. In 2024 the festival will gather guests for the eighth time on August 20. In the festival program:

We are all accustomed to the fact that New Year and winter are accompanied by Father Frost. But in Belarusian mythology, primarily in Polesie, an amazing character was known - Zyuzya - the God of Winter. It is he and his Granddaughter who invite you to visit National Park «Pripyatsky» in New Year's Safari Park, where you will plunge into a magical fairy tale!
The program includes:
- an excursion to the «Safari Park» - a wild animal park where you can see animals in their natural habitat;
- a visit to an ancient settlement, where the Forest Wizard will be waiting for you, who will show you the meadow of desires;
- dances and round dances with the participation of Polesky Zyuzya, his Granddaughter, gifts and sweets;
- memorable photo sessions.
Also on the estate there is «Karchma» Zyuzi, where you can try delicious dishes and hot drinks, if you wish, you can fry lard on a fire and bake potatoes on coals. There is a souvenir shop on the territory, where you can buy a souvenir from Polesky Zyuzi as a keepsake.
